Day 25-26 of my challenge to intensely appreciate life.
What do I intensely appreciate today?
One of my favorite things to happen, when I was a child, was to have one of my mother’s or my father’s sisters come to visit us.
I have three younger brothers but my mother has 6 colorful and creative sisters and my father has 4 loving and relaxed sisters.
I love ALL of my aunts, everyone of them was and is a guiding light and teacher to me.
This weekend I spoke with one of my aunt who recovered from a painful sickness, I also talked to my grandmother, and my mother-in-law who both feel their age weighing on them.
My mother is also trying to keep her health and I am intensely appreciate their positive humor and love.
The other favorite thing to do, when I was a child, was to be with my grandparents.
I generally hang a lot with older people.
I know it sounds not cool, but I have noticed this week, that I miss the wisdom and company of a wise dame.
This week I made an appointment session with a 72 years old and wise healer.
I love that energy in my life.
I intensely appreciate my tribe, the healing I am doing to benefit all of us.
I intensely appreciate the matriarch power my aunts carry.
I intensely appreciate all the old/wise people I ever learned from.
I intensely appreciate the relaxed and loving guidance from beautiful people.
What do I need to Intensely Accept about today?
Teaching my daughter to respect her family is tough, but since our training said: it is unacceptable for one child to dominate the life of 3 people” something happened. We are guided well but it is like a tsunami sometimes.
I intensely accept that parenting is not always a picnic.
Am I intensely loyal to myself?
Yes and loyal to my family line and a new and healthier way.
What have I learned today?
I have learned that the love I get from my family line and especially my grandmothers and grandfathers are a real solid and fast connection to my grounded power. I learned today to add it in a special way to my morning Goddessa practice.
